I scratched my car - quote opinions please

Hi everyone,

I scratched my car against a wall when reversing last night, I am raging with myself :( Does anyone have any ideas on how much a repair of the scratch is likely to cost?

Proably 2 to 3 hundred for repainting the bumper, just go in and get a price in the nearest body shop.

No, a perfectly good job can be done on the side of a bumper, the body lines on this bumper can be used to disguise any blend. Any decent body shop would paint that so it wouldn't be noticeable.

If the middle of the bumper had any sort of damage the full bumper would have to be resprayed as you couldn't blend it properly.

You don't need a full respray for a job to be done properly, you think a body shop would respray the whole side of a car from one end to the other if one panel had small damage 😕 no, they would blend and use the cars natural body lines to paint as little as they can

Not true, a decent painter would be able to do a blow in on that corner and blend it across leaving it invisible.

Thanks so much everyone, I contacted one garage this morning and he said 350-400 :( so I am going to shop around a bit. It doesn't look noticeable in the flesh as the corner of the bumper disguises it so any improvement would be great. Cheers.
