    Hi

I painted a few doors with satinwood finish about two years ago... I'd like to freshen them up now. Is it ok to just apply another finish coat now without undercoat.

    Thanks.

Ya just apply the satinwood directly over the previous coat. Give a light sand before painting to insure good adhesion

Id sand it back to get a nice flat finish again without going through the paint finish. Without doing that, you will get build up of layers and lumpy finish.

As long as you don't go through the paint layer, you should be fine to go with another coat of satinwood.
