Last year I scarified the lawn and got a lot of moss off it.

Gave it decent enough amount of fertiliser and had a nice lawn.

Now this year I have load of fresh new moss growing. Assuming I don't want to just put up with the moss would you

    - scarify it again this year (still have the machine)

    - use some moss killer type product

    - or .... is there another option?

    is it shaded/compacted?

might be woth getting a soil pH tester and seeing if you've acidic soil; if you do, adding lime might be an idea (it won't kill the existing moss but will push the pH of the soil up; moss likes low pH)

    Thanks for that.

Bits of it are shaded at times but loads of it is not.

Will grab one of those testers. Are all soil ph testers created equal? (Ie does it matter which one I buy)
