New Huawei Battery

I'm about to pull the trigger on a solar system with 15kwh of Huawei batteries, however I now see that they have a new modular system about to be released. instead of it being 5/10/15 option, there is a 7/14/21 option which would be a lot more impressive in my opinion. I'm wondering here does anyone know about this LUNA2000-7/14/21-S1 system, release date, price, compatability with previous huawei inverter and bms?

I can't find anything on the interest and am wondering is it worth my while waiting for it, or just pull the trigger and go ahead with the current battery.

Price appeared here looks like 3,000 Euro for 7kwh.

Suspect in Germany that is excluding VAT so possibly 3,600 Euro in Ireland.

What price is the current 5kw huawei battery? €2,500? so 15 kw would be €7,500 with 14kw being €7,200? No real saving, or are my prices way off?

I got some from Kellihers in Oct '23. Prices then were:

Power control module was €797 and a 5kWh battery module was €1975

So 15kWh would cost you €6722 ex vat at those prices

Prices for the new 7/14/21 are up. Looks more expensive that I expected :(

How easy is it to add a battery module to an already installed battery? Would it require an electrician or could it be done DIY?

Huawei have a video on YouTube on how to do it. Seems quite easy.

So even the new luna2000 7/14/21 models seems excessively priced. Anyone seeing price drops on the older 5kwh models ? I ideally would like to install 10kwh of battery but the cost is holding me back. Would be more cost effective to setup a 2nd hybrid inverter with different brand batteries.

The 5kwh and 7kwh have different specs in terms of charging from the grid for example, and different warranties. The 7kwh are also new on the market.

    Early prices would be higher.

Anyone see and price drops happening here ? Would like a 10kwh to add to my existing inverter but the prices are crazy compared to non Huawei. Might even make sense to rip and replace the Huawei inverter but it's been working excellently.
