Hi all, do you know anyone that calls out to rebuild engines. JCB 3CX 87 packed in and need engine work as knocking.

Do you know JCB perkins mechanic in Cavan, meath etc areas??

Engine spares in Lanesboro, but I think you’d have to take the engine out and bring it to them

Get it out either way and wash the living bejasus out of it beforehand No-one will work on that where it is ...not for a full rebuild job. It wouldn't be very difficult to remove that engine

Fellow in wexford will come up to u with a rebuildt engine and take your old one away

Yeah, Engine Spares in Longford, have used them, can recommend. As stated, you will need to take the head/block out and bring it down to them.
