We are trying to figure something out. We just got our Nov/Dec/Jan ( 11/11/2023 - 14/01/2024 ) gas bill from energia - €295

Two of us in the house ( detached bungalow C2 rated old part - extension A rated ). We have Gas heating ( Dual system - water and heating seperate ).

We - even now - have the heating on for maybe 3 hours in a day & only in rooms we use. In the evening we have an open fire in the front room. We use an air fryer ( because we like same ) for most cooking. Other than that we have the water heated twice a day for half hour each.

Just trying to get a feel for peoples bills vs ours. If the €295 is OK for the usage we make as outlined above .. I cant imagine what the bill would be like for a family with heat on all days and the like. Are people looking at near €1000 or more for a bill in this Nov?dec or Jan/Feb period?

The electric bill of course way way down due to credits thankfully
