6kwp with a 4 Kw Inverter?

I am getting 14 x 430 panels, so a 6.02kwp system and the hybrid inverter is a 4kw solaredge (se4000h).

Is this inverter big enough for the system?

You would be better with a 5kw inverter be less clipping during peak hours. What would be your reason for installing a 4kw unit when you are allowed to install a 5kw inverter

Id sorta agree, but id be thinking of going to the Limit of the NC6 (5kW), Then oversize.

Probably has a quicker ROI on a 4kW than 5kW. Also maybe availability is better on a 4kW?

Appears not to be. Plus a 5kW is only 70 EUR more.

Have you checked voltage of panels versus spec sheet of inverter? I could only go 20% "oversized" due to voltage of panels

The roof is maxed out with panels. THe invert can be oversized by 155%. I think I am coming in at 150%. There might be some clipping at the very peak but apparently I get more production in the off peak months like nov - feb due to the efficiency of the inverter. That's the science apparently!

I stand corrected, the inverter is not a hybrid, but it does allow for a battery to be added at a later date which is what i wanted when /if the FIT is withdrawn.

Do you want to post the calc behind the 155%, it needs to be voltage based, better safe than sorry
