    Hi.

Looking for some Information help in regards to new insert stove fitted in the last 2 weeks. It's a henly 21kw with a new flu liner.

It is working great but having a big issue with sweating or a huge build up of cresote.

Talked to company that sold it to me saying it could be the fuel I am using and to using a mix of coal and turf. Making no difference.

Talked to the installer and he said he has seen this but goes away after first week.

    But it's not.

The inside of the stove looks a couple of yrs old yet it's only 2 weeks.

    Any help very much appreciated.

21KW is a serious size if stove. You must be burning some amount of fuel. I would not be too worried about the build up cresotebut I suspect they are right it's the fuel you are using.

Thanks. Just with my old stove I wasn't having this issue and was using same fuel. Only difference is that I have a flu liner in now and on the old one there wasn't.

cold water being circulated through the stove also can cause buidup. Adjust circulation pump temp or burn more.

Hi trying just burning a smokeless coal design just for stove. Not one which can be burn on open fire and stove. With no turf because that can cause cresote

Metal line Chimney are cold than unlined chimney. Which help creosote to form

You buy special log u burn to help remove it
