am looking for recommendations for hotels i plan to travel by motorway the whole way. also if there are any low emission zones i need to worry about. there will be 2 of us both drivers. we plan to do it in 2 goes so stay in belgium or west germany for the night and finish the journey the next day, is this feasible ? both…

use A6 across from Mannheim all the way to Prague with good relatively light traffic on roads. pay attention to speed limits in Franconia, Bavaria.
Heidelberg might be a nice place for you to overnight.
vignette needed and can be purchased in service stations on German side of the border and isn't expensive for a few days.

Don't forget to buy a motorway pass for Czech Republic also. It's quite cheap and there are no further tolls.
