Lean-To Garden Shed Waterproofing

We got a lean-to garden shed put in recently but water is coming in all along the wall where it meets the house. We paid the guys that did it over the odds as they had a good reputation however they only put a sealant to stop the water. They redid a small bit of it when they were doing some other work for me but it still happened again within a couple of days.

My question is shouldn't they have put in something like this? https://www.diy.ie/departments/corrubit-clear-polyvinyl-chloride-pvc-wall-flashing-l-0-95m-w-0-15m/1932633_BQ.prd

I am going to get them back but don't want them to just reapply the sealant because it clearly doesn't work.

    Any thoughts?
