Floor mat “liners” for 2013 Toyota Hilux.

The floor mats in my Hilux are in tatters and I’m going to replace them. When Googling floor mats I came across floor mat “liners”. Basically a floor mat with a raised lip that’s about one inch high.

I find that water, mud and gravel always come off the mat, and stain the footwell areas. But a “liner” with a lip should contain these making the mat more effective.

I’ve seen these mats in the usual online retailers, like Amazon and Etsy. However, they’re all for RHD vehicles.

Wondering if anyone has bought these mat liners for LHD vehicles like we have here and in the U.K.?

Sorry, you’re right, I was thinking of RHT v LHT.

Anyway, you know what I mean.

(Hopefully post-Brexit we’ll switch to LHD and RHT.)

Have you looked at rubber mats from main dealer? Tend to fit best, they clip in too so no movement, probably €100 or so here...

Those from the main dealer tend to be very expensive and are just the basic mats, ie no lip.

From my limited experience, mats, liners, etc., not supplied by dealers or car manufacturers tend to be of better quality and fit perfectly.
