That is a pity. I referred to it in a thread only recently. I have a fairly under utilised VPS if you want a new home for it.

It seems that your site is largely tied to the success of boards.ie and that is not a good way to be these days. If it was promoted elsewhere it might take off

I far preferred this to the excel file someone else had setup but I guess less and less people were using it.

Massive shame. It was an excellent source of information and reference for new and existing users

Just a heads up - I am going to keep this up for another year. I have renewed the domain once more and I am getting some feedback from outside Boards that people may find it useful.

So, please spread the word, setup an account or update your account with your stats!

    thanks

I guess one issue is/was that some people continued filling out the spreadsheet that was setup before this, while others continued with your site!

I can migrate the google data into it, if that might help?

Fair play to you for keeping it and creating it too. I've just sent to someone getting solar! It's much easier to read than the Google Drive doc. Could I suggest a few things to get more people using it? Make it really clear to people what it's for. So maybe stuff like:

    1) On the about page explain it's solar PV data from Irish solar setups (typically residential or non-commercial)

    2) Update the heading from Community data to a summary of the line above (people will land on that page so should be stand alone)

    3) Include the link here each time you add a comment about it, so saves people tracking back (or could lose our interest, we're lazy)

    4) ask mods here to include in the relevant stickies: Interested in Solar PV? Read this FAQ first. — boards.ie - Now Ye're Talkin', Solar PV Boards Members Installer Information — boards.ie - Now Ye're Talkin', Renewable Energies Forum - Key Threads — boards.ie - Now Ye're Talkin' - make it easy and suggest where it could fit and a summary line or 2

    5) no harm to periodically remind people on the monthly and yearly PV stats thread to populate it if they aren't already. I'm not sure are you pulling the data from the Google Drive or do people send you updates directly

It's not a commercial service so shouldn't be an issue with encouraging people here to use it
