Receive non special rate maintenance grant and am due to receive an inheritance in summer 2024 from my parent who has passed. I wasn’t in contact with the parent beforehand since I was a child. Do I need to mention this? Will it affect my grant? i’ve read that if i’m a dependent and receive it from a parent i don’t need to say anything but i wasn’t dependent on this parent? do i just say nothing?
