    Hi folks..

    I have a 2017 Hyundai i20 car.

The tyre pressure monitor light is staying on on the dash..

    So far I've tried...

    Inflatable tyres to recommend psi.

Inflatable tyres to a few psi above recommended psi.

    Inflatable spare to recommended psi.

Driven the car for ten minutes after each of the above changes.

All four tyres are about six months old.

    The light still stays on.

So has anyone had this problem and found a way to fix it.....

    Thanks in adv.

After you put air into the tyres, did you reset the tyre pressure monitoring system?

i20 should be similar to what is in this video:

On the Hyundais you usually have to drive the car to reset the sensors. Hyundai say 10 minutes but from experience it can take longer sometimes up to 20 kilometers or so. You also have to make sure youre driving above 50 kmph. Slower speeds it wont reset.

If it has the reset button like bazz showed above on the dash then you press and hold the button until the light flashes 3 times.

If these fail you probably have a faulty sensor or the battery in one of the sensors is gone.

    Thanks for reply.

Like the video above there is no reset button.... I have inflated to correct psi /bar and driven a few miles but the light ..as shown on bottom right-hand corner on dash stays on...

    Tks
