    My guess is that your warranty is no longer valid since you didn’t maintain the car correctly. Its usually a basic requirement for a car warranty. Who is the warranty with and how long have you owned the car?

    Well your consumer rights are well and truly over since its been over a year. You should read your warranty booklet and it will probably tell you that you need to keep your car serviced in order for the warranty to be in place.
