Myself and the Wife are looking at selling/trade in our cars (2 cars) and buying one,

As i have a Company Car or sometimes Van,

Would Garages buy the two cars and Give good trade in Prices? or better off selling privately?

    thanks in Advance

Define good? They’ll pay you the trade price which is generally slightly less than what you’d get selling privately.

    What cars are you selling?

It also depends on the value of the cars your trading and the value of the car your buying. Dealer will want to make money on both your trade ins as well as the car your buying from them.

if the value of both cars is similar to one car you are buying unlikely to be keen

Depends what they are and what you want? Garages will do it but you might not get good value. Probably simpler to just sell 1 car privately for more and use the other to trade in or keep or sell both privately for more and do a straight buy.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Would be interested to hear if you ended up trading in the 2 cars against one or did one trade in and 1 private sale. My husband and I are thinking of doing the trade in of 2 cars against one SUV

i sold the fiesta to a used car dealer and got an extra 2k by doing that,

traded in the focus and the money i got from the sale of the fiesta for the new Sportage
