    Starts January 10th

    Written By Paul Rutman (Vera)

Paul Rutman, Criminal Record is set in the heart of contemporary London. An anonymous phone call draws two brilliant detectives—Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty (Capaldi) and Detective Sergeant June Lenker (Jumbo) into a confrontation over an old murder case – one a young woman in the early stages of her career, the other a well-connected man determined to protect his legacy.

Excellent cast, Cathy Tyson is good but needs more Zoe Wannamaker.

I'm 3 episodes in. It's okay, the writing is a bit meh. I didn't like the fact that pretty much all events in ep2 ended up being completely redundant.

The two leads are good though.

Cush Jumbo's come a long way from her supporting role in Vera.
