Car hire Tenerife

    Hi

    Going to Tenerife for a few days in December. 6 in the family and were thinking of renting a car to travel around the island.

    Has anyone rented/driven in Tenerife and would you recommend it?

    We are staying in Costa Adeje but were hoping to go to mount Teide.

    Of do we just get taxi from airport and stay in Costa Adeje for the 5 days that we are there.

    Cicar. Full insurance, 0 excess, free additional driver. Unlimited mileage.

    Might have to prepay for fuel.

    You don't even need a credit card, debit will do.

    Unless something changed, those were the terms for the last 10 years+.
