Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

    Car is 08 octavia 1.9tdi

Noticed today with the engine on the first 2 times I press the brake pedal it feels soft, on the 3rd push it feels fine and back to normal.

But leave it for a few seconds and it's back to being soft and goes straight to the floor.

With engine off the pedal becomes hard and stays hard.

Checked around the calipers and under the car and no leaks visible.

    Brake fluid is full.

    Any ideas?

    Brake vacuum pump leak maybe?
