Sealing/water proofing an electrical attachment onto pebbledash

I want to connect a Google security camera onto pebbledash and make it water tight. The plastic attachment is flat and circular.

Other than using silica gel is there a rubber/silica pad in existence that would sit between the attachment and wall, moulding itself into the dash and thus water sealing the plastic attachment to the wall?

I have never seen one of those. How about chipping off some of the highest points on the pebble-dashing and then fitting a circular plate to the wall with a backing of silicone sealant?
