Airport Hotels Dublin, arriving early?

Just wondering, I have a friend who's arriving early, at 11 am from an exhausitng intercontinental flight ( overnight).

Is it possible to have the hotel room ready earlier for him?

Both hotels at Dublin airport do have check in 3pm or even 4pm.

So far they won't want anybody coming earlier? Or would they make an exemption?

Does anybody have an experience with the two airport hotes?

    Get him to ring them.

If your friend managed to book the hotel surely they can call them and ask about early check in?

I am only aware of e-mail correspondence, but that was sadly negative. Maybe a hefty tip will do it?

I was more looking for experiences of others, not so much what I could do or not.... Sure, I can ring.

Some people will check out for early flights while others won’t need to leave until check out time, probably noon, so rooms will probably be empty in plenty of time for your friend. The issue is with housekeeping staff, what time they start & how long it’ll take to get any given rooms ready. Your friend may not be the only one hoping to check in early but they should telephone the hotel while waiting for their luggage & ask again about the possibility of checking in within the hour, maybe after a quick coffee in the lobby. A little bit of notice, polite manner & reasonableness can work wonders once a receptionist knows you’re turning up for your reservation.

I'm sure there'll be rooms available early due to people getting early morning flights. Talk to the hotel, I'm sure they'll be happy to accommodate. It's not like it's the first time they've had such a request.
