    Do you think will these flexitails fit onto this copper pipe?


    These were the flexitails that came with the new tap. I don't want to start the job of removing the old tap if these don't fit because I don't have any connectors or other attachments.

    They will fit, but the rubber washers on the flexi hoses will have a very limited surface on that fitting to seal against. The result is rubber may fail and the thing leaks prematurely.

    There is a simple solution, and that is to replace the current fitting with a 1/2” 311. Looks very similar but has a flat surface on one end for the flexi rubber to seal against.
