Boiler Super Q 50/90Tripping out mains when turning on.

    Hi All

    My first time to post so I hope I'm using correct etiquette etc.

    I have a firebird super q 50/90 boiler. When i trun it on it trips the mains out. Im thinking the Firebird ‘S’ Control Stat is faulty causing short. Is it possible for me to confirm if this device is faulty?.

    Failing that does anyone know why Boiler would keep tripping out mains?

    Note

    I did find a small leak above the Water Pump and I belive this water may have leaked into the mains wire powering the pump thus causing the initial power out (short).

    There is no water there now that I can see causing short - So I'm assuming this leak cause something to blow?
