Looking for keyboards, bassist, and drummer for a weezer cover band

    I'm a malahide based guitar player in my 40s and i'm looking for musicians who would enjoy playing some of weezer's best songs, mainly from the first three albums. We'd need a keyboard player (I'd rather a keyboard than second guitar), a bassist, and drummer. And it would be great if any or all members could do some backing vox - I would be doing the main singing.

    I know its a bit niche (and I'm actually not the biggest weezer fan...) but I find their songs super fun and energetic and they really suit me as a player.

    Although I'm looking at this as a "just for fun" type project at the moment, I'd love for this to turn into something more in the future. I work a full time job and have a family so commitment level-wise, rehearsal every 3 weeks or so is what I'm thinking. I like pirate studios, but i'm open to the rehearsal location.

    I've played in quite a few bands over the years and i really enjoy playing with other musicians. I'm looking for people who feel the same and would enjoy working up and playing some of weezer's best stuff. If you're interested get in touch!

    Hey, you still looking for a drummer? Playing for 30 odd years and with backing vocals. Big fan of early Weezer stuff, not so much the new stuff. If you're still looking can you message me and let me know the plan long term. I'd be looking for something fun but with a view to gigging fairly regular. Cheers

    I’m a drummer based in dublin with lots of gigging experience. Fan of Weezer so this sounds interesting. Is the goal here for fun or do you plan on making some money off of this?

    At the moment the goal is just finding musicians who enjoy playing with other musicians (and like weezer hopefully...), so more for fun. But depending on how it goes, sure it'd be great to make a little cash with it in the future - what level of commmitment would you be looking for?
