How to repressurise vokera mynute he 25 boiler.

Let some air out of the rads but not sure how you repressurise the system.

Seems like the boiler is on the landing and pressure pressure vessel is in the attic.

Gauge is reading low not sure if there is a loop to feed water into the system.

It seems to what looks like a feed loop from the mains that is attached to the feed for the attic tank.

Anybody have any ideal what I am looking at?

Yes, the unit with the gauge is an automatic filling valve. They can be left open all the time and they will automatically top up the system as required - although most would recommend leaving them closed/off and only open the valve to fill the system when required.

The two back valves in the photo - one or more are possibly closed. They need to be opened a little until the pressure reaches approx 1.5 bar.

Thanks for the reply so the black one on the Gauge needs turning to fill? The other black one was on all the time but I turned it off as when I turned it on it did not restore the pressure on its own.

Yes the one on the gauge - screw anti clockwise and you should see (and hear) the pressure increase.

The valve on the end of the flexible hose might also be closed.

It just had a little nut not a flat head it was like a bleed valve just water comes out when you turn it.

Unfortunately when I checked the one with the gauge it was already open full.

Regardless what way I turn the one from the mains no water is going in.

I think what you lads recommended would have worked if there was a problem with the valves turned off but they are not.

Something else must be wrong possibly the mains pressure never thought it was great but all taps and loo are working fine.

If the mains pressure is good enough to fill the tank in the attic it should be able to push one bar into the heading system.

If you turn the heating on no warning lights or anything come on and its not shutting down.

With the heating on the gauge goes up a few notches just below a half a bar.

Any thoughts??? I just want to make sure its safe and working when needed likely I will end getting a plumber if it's a no fix.

The gauge was at 1.5 before the summer I think it just needs more water.

The most likely explanation is that the automatic filling valve is seized, which isn’t uncommon.

You could try making a minor adjustment to the screw directly opposite the black valve on the body of the automatic filling valve.

But I think your bet would be to replace the unit completely.

Thanks I will take another look to see if I can get it to work already gave it a few taps but no improvement.
