Guitarist Looking for Rock Project

Hi guys - I've recently retired from my role in a well established hard rock tribute band and am looking at possibilities for my next project: I play lead guitar: I like 70s/80s melodic/hard rock. I'm open to ideas that would result in getting to play good tasty music with great people with high musical ambition and standards, in a band to be proud of, and that people will actually want to come along to listen to. (I'm not asking a lot, am I ??!!). Your age is irrelevant. I'm 60, and I'm still as buzzed playing as I was when I started at age 15. Money has never been my main motivation in playing music but if it pays, better again! I'm open to ideas that range from light rock (Jackson Browne, Dire Straits etc..) to Classic Hard Rock (Saxon, Iron Maiden...). I'm open to developing some original music too. It might look like a band that plays a gig every few weeks and rehearses in between so things are polished. If you have the right attitude the rehearsals themselves will be a pleasure and won't feel like "work". If this sounds like something you might be interested in, message me. I'm based in North Kildare but will travel within reason for the right setup.
