I am considering a move from Department of Social Protection to HSE. Can I transfer over my pension or do I lose it altogether if I accept HSE job offer?

You mention a 'HSE job offer', did you ask them during the recruitment phase if you could move your DSP pension?

It's still a public service pension. What you need to ask is will changing jobs put you on the newer style public pension( (post 2013 ) or will you keep your old one if you started pre 2013

    But double check!!
