Currently buying house in Limerick?

Well lads and ladies, I haven't posted in the forum in a few years as I moved overseas. Coming home next year and looking to buy back in Limerick to settle down once and for all.

How are things for buyers out there at the moment? We are actively looking but nothing has jumped out at us that we would be willing to bid on.

Supply seems to be good for 3 bed semis in estates but not much in 4 bed detached/larger houses coming up.

TLDR Are you bidding or buying a house in Limerick at the moment and how is it going?

Yes I've seen both, the first one is in the range of what we are looking for but neither of us want to be in Castletroy or that side.

We looked at three houses over the summer and after much mulling decided not to bid as they didn't tick all boxes or needed too much work to get right.

I am more interested to see how things are going for buyers at the moment in particular. We sold our old house this year and I was pleasantly surprised by how strong bidding was but I know the market for 3 bed starter/family homes is very hot currently.
