Can a shower pump be installed in the attic if the combi-boiler is in the kitchen?

We have a 45/30 (123l) cold water storage tank in the attic and a Vokera combi boiler in the kitchen; the pressure is about 1 bar.

Since our electric shower is broken, we would like to install a rain shower and booster pump which causes a predicament as there is no real space in the kitchen.

Are there any options to install a pressure or booster pump in the attic? If so, how and what changes need to be made?

    Thank you.

Yes, pump the whole thing from the attic storage tank which is the way it should have been done in the first place.

You may need a second storage tank as you have limited capacity in your current tank and any half decent shower will empty it much faster than it will fill.

The pump can usually be located in the attic. DAB Esybox is a good constant pressure pump and would be worth looking at.

A pressurised feed from this tank will be needed to the combi boiler. Potentially there could be repurposing of some existing pipework for part of this run.

Raincan could be 17 litres/minute so as noted bigger tank

why not consider a shower with in built pump, fitting a booster pump in the attic will be noisy and significant plumbing required to make the hot and cold supply to raincoat the only circuit that is pumped, else its all pumped so flushing the loo after a bad feed of points at 3am will wake the household
