    Two brilliant turnaround victories in the singles just now for Liam Nolan (2 down with 5 to play) and Mark Power (3 down with 7 to play). So all 4 Irish players have got a win today in either foursomes or singles, which is fantastic. Hopefully Matt McClean can at least halve the 18th for 1.5 points today.

    A superb fight back by team USA clinched the Walker Cup for the fourth time in a row. Special mention for world am golf ranking number one Gordon Sargent who went 4-0 over the two days of competition.

    Mark Power and John Gough have now ended their amateur careers and will both make their professional debuts at the K Club for the Irish Open next week. Mark won 6 of his 8 Walker cup matches in 2021 and 2023, some nice achievement for the Kilkenny golfer.
