Selling your business

    I am a sole trader and someone has approached me to buy my business, website and social media pages.

    Has anyone here been through this and can advise on what precautions I would need to take. I am particularly concerned about the social media pages and GDPR.

    Are you asking if you can keep your followers for a new enterprise? That would depend on what it says in the sale contract.

    They would be part of what would be sold. I’m just concerned as I would be passing on their details to a 3rd party.
