Is it possible/necessary to apply for retention for septic tank upgrade?
We undertook remedial works to the septic tank on our 1980s-built property, including overflow tank and new piping to percolation bed three years ago; now we are selling the property and the purchasers solicitor has raised a query relating to planning. We didn't apply for planning at the time (didn't know this was required).
Has anyone been through a similar experience, or can advise how to navigate?
