Yeah, that was odd as hell! I was afraid my kids were going to walk in while I was completing that part and think I was arranging to have the family pooch send off for rendering. 🤣

With pets (primarily) eating meat, they consume a fair whack of the stuff over their lifetime. I don't have a pet, but I'd be of the camp that they are an integral part of the family. There are easier and more benifical things to do to reduce CO2 levels than banning Mister Kibbles from Whiska's :-)

It would also be a political disaster. Even if is was hugely benifical (which I'd be suspicious about), no politician in their right mind would want to be associated with it. Again, easier ways to get us on the right track. Solar panels, heat pumps, insulation, energy awareness etc.
