Straight woman who dated a gay man.

Weird question, but I really am puzzled so brainstorming here might help:

This guy I know went out with a woman for a bit, both of them mature of age. He is gay but said he wanted to try dating a woman. She went along with it, and due to his "I am trying things" reasoning he actually told me he got her to do some nasty things and mainly used her for weird stuff that she hasn't done before. And this is coming from a gay guy so I believe the "nasty" part.

My question is, why would someone be subjected to that only because "hey it's my first let's do this crazy thing here don't be a prude"?

Do we really allow ourselves things if we think the other person is "exploring"?
