Usually, if you've not heard of them it's best to avoid, but I found this about Event Tyres:

Event tyres are made in the Netherlands and partly owned by the tyre giant, Continental.

Probably worth a punt for a Continental Sub Brand, produced in Europe.

Cheap tyres. Won't be great in an emergency or on a wet road but probably will last and last.

Triangles (brutal tyres) are €53 on Oponeo.ie at the moment in that size. Hankooks, a decent mid range are €58.

These no name tyres are a huge mark up for tyre bays so they push to sell them. Worth ringing around and asking for prices. For an extra tenner the car will ride and stop much better.

For such a cheap tyre size it wouldn’t cost a lot more to get good quality ones.

My experience with cheap tryes, is that they are great, until you need them to work in an emergency.

Best avoided, unless you can gaurentee you'll never have to make even one emergency brake or swerve in their lifetime., As it could be the end of yours.

    Best avoided
