Where to buy plywood like the one used by Neistat brothers, Sachs etc...

Hi, I'd like to build a few shelves and small furniture and after watching both Van and Casey Neistat I'm looking for something like the plywood they use.

If you are not familiar with them, here's an old video all about it by Tom Sachs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVxldyIa0Bg

Is that soft or hard plywood? Where can I find it, possibly around Dublin south, and maybe a place that can cut it in manageable sizes? Thanks!

You want people to watch a 10 minute video before answering your question?

Not watched video but likely birch plywood you looking for. Unfortunately very hard to get at the moment and ridiculously expensive.

Try Woodworkers in Terenure who will cut sheets to size for you

That just looks like, well, plywood. I would expect every decent merchants to have something in stock. There are standard sheet sizes.

It isn't cheap in Ireland, never was but has got a lot dearer recently.

if you’d actually bothered to watch your posted video you’d find the answer to your question 2 mins 30 into it…….

in the studio ply is 7 layer 3/4 inch AC fir

Birch Ply is not stocked as standard in many places, usually has to be special ordered and costing about €150.00 for an 18mm sheet of 8x4.

The red stuff that is generally available is pure ****.
