Seat alhambra, 2:0 litre diesel, the fans under the bonnet at the radiator come on within a matter of minutes of starting the engine & remain on until & some minutes after stopping engine.

the air con or in cab fan/heater wouldn't be switched on at this time.any ideas as to what may be the issue?thanks

No communication between ECU and fan control module. Likely a broken wire, have it scanned.

Guessing temp gauge is working ok?

Temperature gauge appears to be reading normal in the dash.it is showing a fault alright when scanned "auxiliary heater control module" "no signal/communication "

Had the same issue. Replaced battery and fan started running as normal again.

My battery was goosed tho, so might not solve the issue your having

See if your engine wiring loom is rubbing on the front of the gearbox.
