Hi I already have a rifle licence and now want to get a shotgun aswell. Would I need to go through the whole process on the licence application again such as written permission from land owners and character referees etc or would that not be necessary on the second licence application.Cheers.

Short answer - yes.
Longer answer - each license application is processed and judged on its own merits which means each application is an individual application and is not sped up or require less information simply because you applied previously.

For future reference keep a copy of all documents.
Fill out Fca1 form as .pdf and keep for future use.
