(Solved) Virgin Media Hub 3.0 speed capped in Modem Mode

    I was upgraded to 500Mb speed with VM recently and if I use the Media Hub 3.0 in router mode I can get that speed when doing a speed test.


    However in Modem mode attached to my Netgear router the speed is always capped at 240Mb.

    Is there a setting that can unlock the full speed in modem mode on either router?

    Just spotted the issue!

    I had a define my own speed setting in Quality Of Service in the secondary Netgear router and it was set to 240Mb down and 24Mb up.

    I possibly put those values in the first day I connected my Netgear router.
