I don't get the argument that skills or speed is lacking, it's bs to me. Isn't sport about fair competition, Ireland and Australia are both full time professional outfits competing for a world cup.

In general I find football fairly boring, whether it be men's premier league or whatever else, but always watch as many world cup matches as I can. Big events always have an sense of occasion and extra spectacle for me.

bit unfair. if you take it on its own merits Ireland have been very poor. cannot retain possession at all. cant seem to put more than a few passes together, backwards or sideways. mccabe is lost playing left wing back, cannot affect the game at all.
