The pressure must be getting to them, many people have huge expectations on them not just to form the next government but to deliver on housing. 

It’s not a great sign that two of their most important figures are struggling with health issues already, if this tweet was from Joe Biden everybody would be saying he’s not fit for office…

Regardless, even if that were the case, it would not indicate be any indication of "job well done", when we are producing about half of the housing stock necessary to meet demand for the next few decades

It's a moot point, neither of them are in the positions you are talking about.

Both of my parents got very sick at the same time from completely different issues. People of a 'certain age' are more susceptible to health issues. As you mature and get more life experience you'll realise this.

It’s absolutely not a moot point, they’re vying to take up those positions in 2 years time and would want to hold them for atleast 5 years, it’s nothing personal against anyone, just a genuine worry that a lot of voters would have.

EOB and Mary Lou are 50 and 54 respectively, not exactly the age most people start getting serious health issues.

Anyone could be sick in 2 years time or anyone could be perfectly healthy in 2 years time so their health right now absolutely is a moot point. Again, when you gain some life experience you'll see that health problems can effect people of any age in any walk of life.

I have to agree. I suppose I’m adding fuel by posting in this thread but feel it needs to be said that women of a certain age (I’m one) may sometimes need surgery at a maternity hospital due to the specialists there. Doesn’t mean she’s no longer fit for her job but major surgeries require recovery time.

It’s not like ML is giving the public a blow by blow of her health journey. It’s pretty normal for someone who is in the public eye and disappears to put out a statement to avoid speculation.
