Hi there. I have been living in my council house for around a month. My partner and father to my child lives an hour away, he has been told the house he is sharing is being put up for sale. Is there a time frame on when I can look for permission for him to live here with us. If I am not mistaken, I heard a lady at the council meeting saying we had to wait 2 years before making any changes to our lease

Can someone give me some advice on this

    Call the council and ask.

They may be willing to let him move in, but not go on the tenancy as yet.
