Anyone have any recommendations for good value removals people? Have got a couple of quotes from just googling companies but the costs seem quite high as they are very 'established'.

If anyone has any direct recommendations, or where to search for good value would appreciate it.

Moving from 3 bed house in D8 to a storage facility in Lucan.

    Thanks

We used one called Rens Removals I think was the name of it. Couldnt fault them at all and they were literally half the price of the next lowest quote we got. But get lots of quotes. And watch out for the ones who demand that you do storage with them too.

Depends what you need but when I moved i found the specialised removal companies were very expensive. I moved a lot of stuff in my own Estate car and then hired a local "man with a van" operator to do the bigger items. It was much cheaper.

Assuming you have moved already but Cheapremovals are good value and have their own storage facilities also.

I used Haltons Removals, our stuff was very well taken care of, they moved stuff to a storage unit and then into the new house when we got the keys. They took the bed down and the put it back up again.

It was seemless, expensive but seemless and it would be the one thing I would put the money into again if I was in the situation again.
