Eddi without Harvi/Hub question

    Hi,

Does anyone knows if Harvi is needed in order to view Eddi's stats remotely?

I've been reading about the hub but not sure if Harvi is needed too.

My Inverter is from Growatt and they don't seem to have (yet) an Harvi like product to allow me to check the hot water stats remotely.

Sorry if this was asked before, couldn't find anything using the search.

Harvi is just for CT's for monitoring power.

You need a hub to remotely view and control the eddi.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the hub not needed for the newer eddis as they now come with wifi. So OP you will need to figure out your version of eddi

I think the Wi fi version has 2 antennae where version one which needs the hub only has 1 antenna.

Mine has two antennas and I ca nconect to it on the MyEnergi app.

The Growatt (ShinePhone) app doesn't show the Eddi and the MyEnergi (Eddi) app doesn't see the inverter.

Not sure if Harvi is the magic components to marry the two.

The growatt will never be able to "see" the eddi.

You can get a CT wired back to the eddi from the inverter, a harvi could also be used to get that CT into the system.

You don't need a Harvi or Hub with the newer Eddi and Zappi, either can be the master and both have hub built in with wifi now.

Installed mine last week all talking to each other with no Harvi or Hub external, obviously have ct clamps where needed.

So assume you've wired clamps back to ct2 inside eddi or to zappi?

    O don't have zappi

I don't see anything in the middle of myenergi. Just a green leaf with nothing in it (where in your screenshot it shows 100%)

Is this a setting or a missing ct clamp?
