Easiest way to get from Heuston to Sandymount?

The easiest way online seems to be getting a C1 or C2 bus out to Sandymount, but I'm just wondering how reliable are they? Do they always come if they're scheduled? The other option would be getting a Luas then a Dart but that seems like a lot.

    TIA

The C1 or C2 would be the easiest way, far handier, plus they go through the heart of Sandymount rather than skirting the edge as the DART does.

Use the real-time app, and there’s an RTPI display at the stop on St. John’s Road outside Heuston - if there’s no bus coming then use the LUAS/DART option, but change at Abbey Street to Tara Street rather than wasting time walking in the wrong direction at Connolly.
