Got the renewal notice in the post today.

Up about €100, but the real change seems to be they are now applying NCB to Commercial policies.

This shows up as a total premium of €1400+ minus NCB of 75%, plus levies etc.

Up untill now they always claimed to not have a NCB on Commercial policies (well, farm 4x4's anyway).

I thought that FBD had a special policy for farmers 4x4's for like €400 odd euro - I think they have to be older models.

Well this is definitely an older model!

    2000 Trooper with 215,000 miles.

    They are looking €465, TPF&T

If they have gone away from the flat rate model, then any little claim and you'll be at €1400 per annum.

Give them a buzz and that'll be cut down to €400.
