Anyone work for HSE HR.... Pay scale question

Hi guys

I've been employed with a section 38 company within the healthcare sector for the last 7 years, I have applied for a clerical role within the HSE can anyone tell me if I would start on point one of the clerical officer role (grade 3) or do my years service apply from the section 38 role?

I'm just going through the application process at the minute but I just wanted to see if it was worth my time as the payscale I am on is substantially more.

Any guidance would be much appreciated

Hi

No sorry I should have clarified.... I work as an "instructor"grade on the HSE payscale.... It's not clerical work it's direct work with people we support in a day service.

Hi I was working for a recruitment agency and my role was in the hse they took my time spent in the role into account and I started on a higher scale

When my contract was issued it was at the starting scale for grade 3 so I questioned it and it was amended

I filled in verification of service form

Maybe email then your dates start and finish for the 7 years that you worked there and ask them

I would just worried I don't have "clerical officer" experience that they may not put me up the scale.

Im 10 on a panel so not getting a job any time soon but just wanted to see if it would be worth my while or not.

I may just email them and see lol 😂
