Any recommended place (preferably in the West) to assist me with VW egr/adblue recalibration. 😁

    Nobody,

Alright scrub "The West" bit, any recommendation for someone who knows what they are doing, re Volkswagen Egr delete etc.

Don't want to blindly pick someone from the Done Deal

Matthew at MFK autocare in Addinstown will be able to sort that for you no problem if you don't mind the journey, not exactly west.

It's about 20 minutes away from Mullingar.

Joe Power is a well respected mapper. A friend of mine races rallyX and he does all their cars. Many posts on various forums recommend him. He could do a ERG deletes.

Out of curiosity are you suffering from the VW Dieselgate "fix" ? If so an EGR delete is the only way to go about it.

Recommended to gut the DPF at the same time as permanently closed EGR can lead to DPF blockage.

Cost me €450 for EGR,DPF and stage 1 with all the necessary software bits got to do with DPF delete

No , never got the "dieselgate" fix, it's a Touareg, I have already done the egr blank, but something niggling me that the remap might not be good. Now have the adblue heater fault too, so that's getting the high road, probably as well to kill the dpf as well. 😀
