Audi A4 TDI speed sensor

    Mate got loads of lights like abs, traction control, parking brake and steering fault up now on his A4, year 2013,

    Scanner showing sensor, on inspection the sensor is broke off with the piece logged inside wheel,

    He joined the two wires and scanner cleared fault and showing no faults but lights remain on dash


    Any advice here

    Replace the abs sensor and you may need to do steering angle basic settings again. Make sure the sensor is correct as there are multiple types

    New sensor fitted that correct one for his car and now scanner coming up with sensor and steering fault....

    Abs and Traction symbols still on dash

    Scanner being is used is Xtool D7

    I'm not familiar with the capabilities of that tool but you will likely need to do a basic settings for the steering fault.

    The sensor fault needs more diagnosis, is there a love data readout available to you from that wheel? Compare it to the opposite side.

    What is the exact code? There are many relating to each sensor
