In the past month I saw 3 big mahoosive bouncy castles in the shape of tigers. At least one of them had a big fancy schmancy newbuild in the backdrop.

If you have any bit of an old ruin standing in the back of a field you better sell it quick!

2 of them could have been the same but another was over 100km away from the other 2 so I reckon who ever is making tiger-shaped bouncy castles is also doing a roaring trade

Its strange times we're living in. People on social welfare & no education beyond junior cert have houses, cars & can afford extravagant things like this to celebrate events for their kids while people with masters degrees are working but are living worse off than people on the dole. The celtic tiger is alive and well for people who dont work & it's recession times for people who do work. The system is broken.

Starting to feel like 2006/ 2007 when interest rates crept up. Everyone said we would have a softy landing. Did we - no.

ECB have increased interest rates now , what more than half a dozen times...with more to come...

Its not sustainable charging people 50k for a small car, 500 for a hotel room for a night ( if you can get one ), a tenner a pint in Temple bar... lunacy.

Interesting times.

Something has got to give. House prices keep going up. Central Bank loosened the rules last year reminiscent of them allowing 100% mortgages.

I don’t wish the misfortune of the Recession on anyone or begrudge anyone their success but crazy money for crappy houses never ends well.

Took a detour through Foxrock about this time last year and the amount of for sales signs shocked me. If these folks are selling up, are they calling the top of the market?

All the big houses with expensive EV's parked outside them. Airports jammed with people going on holidays. And yet all the moaning about the price of a loaf of bread going up 10c.
